The theme of this meeting was citizenship. We folded American Flag and wrote with a quill pen. Mrs. May recited the flag retirement ceremony as we saw at APE. Here is one web site where you can find the scripts based on the poem of "I Am Your Flag".

Oct. 3 to 4, 2009, Activity Pin Extravaganza Hosted by Boy Scout Troop 158.
Many many hands-on activities, great camp fire, funny skits, and a very moving flag retirement ceremony.

A great start of our new season. Our den presented the colors at the meeting. Scouts and our den leaders got the recognition of services. Congratulations to Noah for achieving the aquanaut pin. Scouts who went to the Kings Mountain camping trip last April also got the patch certified by the National Park Services. The cover photo below is a link. Click it to see more photos.
