Nov. 11, Veterans' Day Flag Retirement Ceremony. The U.S. Flag Code states, "The
flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting
emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably
by burning". The Scouts of Troop 776 hosted the ceremony. Our den together with cub scouts from pack 733 and 833 attended this moving event at Advent UMC.
Nov. 8, second community service project. As Ms. May pointed out, this shows our appreciation to the Gilder Creek Farm community for letting us use the facility for our meetings and this exemplifies two of the the cub scout core values: Citizenship and Responsibility. Thanks to everyone who were able to attend this and to Mr. Steve R. for taking and sharing the photos:
